Method III Cooperative Problem Solving in 5-Steps :-

Preparatively:
(i)
Each participant must have
a printed copy of the (downloaded}
‘Method III & Rules in 5-Steps’ A4 sheet.
(ii)
Form a ‘clockwise’ circle.
(iii)
Remember that the Meeting is to be
not only
“win” for each person present
but as fully-as-possible including
“‘win’ and ‘win'”
for all those who will be or might be
affected by the Meeting’s ‘Final-Decision & Plan’ –
but who are unable to attend the Meeting in person.
(iv)
Each participant comes to, and participates in, the Meeting
with no previous Competitive or Comparative Advantage.

{ Method I
of ‘solving-problems’ is the ‘trad-way’
whereby certain kinds of problem
are almost always solved by
‘Parental’ or ‘Employer’ “dictate”.
Method II
is when certain other forms of problems
are “pre-solved” by the Children or the Employees’

Method III –
nobody comes with any pre-set
‘Advantage’ [nor ‘Disadvantage’].

A “facilitator” and “scribe” are really advisable, too.
So you-all (must)
“trustingly ‘make-do’ “,
somehow –
until your group has ‘grown’
into several “Threesome” tables –
all ready for the greater
“Peacefully Radical World Civilisation Reformation Era” !

THE PROCEDURE

1. Agree the ‘World-Situation’
and then focally agree
your Common-Problem;
record these
and scribe-write-up-verbatimly-and-visibly
at least your agreed ‘Common Problem’.

‘Call in’
Imagined Solutions
whereby each and all would get
their Real-Need met (or ‘meetable’).

Keep going around and around the circle
until every-one is satisfied –
and the scribe has verbatimly written-up
those ‘satisfactions’.

Go round again
‘evaluating’ each ‘solution’.

4.
Around again now
choose one of those solutions
or
‘cobble-together’
the ‘most-suitable-bits’
from more than one solution’.

5.
Draw up a Plan A –
and then a ‘contingency’ Plan B.
