Here is a quickly-do-able ‘self-refreshment-‘move’ you can use
whenever ‘time allows’:
it is one of those given by Janet Goodrich in her world-leading book

Look at something,
a picture on the wall, the doorway or window,
now
instead of looking at-it, into-it
move both eyes outside of it
and ‘self-awaringly’ look only around that thing’s edges.
“After-school” –
when seated opposite someone,
look around the outside edge of their head,
shoulders, arms. whole body;
then if you’re ‘friendly’ enough
look into each others eyes for a second or two,
before ‘sort-of-alternating’
your ‘gaze’
between
their right and left eyes
and
your right and left eyes.
