we Various Humankind-Peoples
are to face more problems and conflicts
than in the past

As a Self-Esteeming Humankind Species on Earth,
we have already become
‘long-overdue’ to constitute a
” ‘No-Lose’ Needs-&-Hows Recognising,
Cooperative Problem-Solving
and
Longest-Term Implementing
Methodology,
Logistic,
and
People-Fitnessing-for-Purpose
Peaceful-Reformation.

However “less-than-complete
and positivisingly
fit-for longest-term purpose” have been,
and still are,
The Ten Commandments,
they do have practically
(and perhaps ‘morally’)
good-guidances and ‘rules’ in them.

Professor Robert Bolton’s work resulted in a similar
“Thou Shalt Not -“
insight into
“making-the-best-of-this
Earthly-Humankind-Challenge”.

Here it is, as a fairly easily memorisable “key-list”:-

Name-Calling

Evaluatively Praising or Blaming.

Group II
SENDING-SOLUTIONS
Ordering
Threatening
Moralising
Inappropriate Probing
Advising.

Group III
AVOIDING OTHER’S’ NEEDS & CONCERNS
Diverting
Phoney-Reasoning
Reassuring.

‘Roadblock No. 13
(perhaps should have been spotted first)
Saying someone else is ‘Roadblocking’.

5 or 6 Steps originated in Dr Thomas Gordon’s “People/Parent/Teacher/Leader Effectiveness Training” books
later included in Bolton’s People Skills
(as ‘Collaborative P-S’).
(ii)
Dr Edward de Bono’s ‘Lateral-Thinking’ and
Six Thinking ‘Hats’.
