and a good deal of practical “training” too, useful in a Workplace,
to children of each gender
and was perhaps one of the few really good Humankind Civilisation Foundations
for the World’s Peoples
that came out of Britain’s Colonial Era in so may countries and Peoples “abroad”.
The Boy Scouts
and later
The Girl Guides.
Annually my two older Girl Guide sisters,
who were both Radiographers in WW2 Plymouth’s Greenbank Hospital
and elsewhere in Britain according to need –
were part of a “Thinking Day”..
